Christians I knew

I grew up among Southern Baptists. I didn't like them. Still don't. But I was interested to see recently that the church's national conference voted to condemn the "alt-right." (A name I deplore; we already have a name for them: neoNazis.)

It was not unanimous.

Southern Baptists have always been fractious, and they're hell on liberals.

So I was interested, but unsurprised, to see what happened when a pastor called for witness statements from people who quit the church.

Next time you see a report about the National Prayer Breakfast,  think about this.

So far as I know, no other cult has voted on whether to condemn neoNazis. So there's that.

Who is this "we" of which you speak? Are the others out there besides you trafficking in slurs?

Plenty, actually. All of them, like you, hoping to be the next Sam Biddle.

I've heard the Alt-right includes Heather MacDonald, Ben Shapiro, Jordan Peterson, Steven Crowder Charles Murray and Milo Yiannopoulos.

According to you, they are neo-Nazis. Yet you will not be able to produce a definition of that term, nor anything any of those people said that could possibly apply.

You call this blog "Restating the Obvious" which, of course, means you have the elevated cognitive ability to restate the obvious to those too stupid to have gotten it in the first place.

Considering you can't ascertain easily available facts about Desert Storm, completely misunderstand a simple grant of cert, find obvious elements of employment contracts beyond your ken, then your implicit claim is looking increasingly ridiculous.

Moreover, your loathsome smear also shows you are completely immune to irony. Your people got James Demore fired for saying the glaringly apparent, in the process showing themselves to be actual fascists. Your people attempt to impose, using violence if necessary, right think. Just like actual fascists.

Odd that doesn't get any coverage here.
